Kelly Head Prep
Cut off the extended neck of the Kelly head at the jaw line, dug out a cylindrical hole for the neck of the CLD to fit into the head (be careful around the throat tube), dug out a vertical tunnel behind the nose to allow the throat tube to bend upwards and clear the CLD neck when the it is inserted into the head. Keep the neck hole as far to the rear of the head as possible to allow more room for the throat tube.

Kelly Head Prep
